From an ancient olive mill of 1300 (of which there are still some features in one of the apartments, that make it unique) now 3 modern apartments for 6 pers. each, which have all modern comforts (TV Sat, Wifi, washing machine, dishwasher) + antiques.
In 1300 there used to be an ancient olive mill, where the apartments are today. A crystal water spring helped the movement of the heavy milling machines and mechanisms, that were used for the production of a delicious olive oil, produced with the olives that ripened under the sun on the hills nearby. The rebuilding was made with love and respect for the original style and features, so much that you can still admire inside of the building many of the peculiarities.
Outside, expansive grounds are located in front of the olive mill, with tables and chairs for guests to have a drink or a meal surrounded by nature and peace. The pretty basin with river fishes add an unique touch to the outise areas. One parking space at disposal for each apt.

The location of Casale Amati Country House is extremely lucky: at the foot of the majestic Apuan Alps, next to the medieval village Fosdinovo, whose Castle is a destination that attractes visitors every day.
The guests of Casale Amati Country House can choose whether to practice high altitude trekking or water sports on the famous beaches of Versilia and Apuan Riviera, both within very short car trips of few minutes.
Very near the small town Sarzana, built between the XV and the XVI Century, same as the Marble Quarries in Carrara, that are famous worldwide and surrounded by the Natural Park of the Apuan Alps.
The main art cities of Tuscany like Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Arezzo, Siena can all be reached for day trips with the car or the train, same as Liguria with its incomparable Cinque Terre, the typical sailor hamlets in Portovenere with breath-taking views and the splendid Genoa.
