Just 2 km from the Monte Pratello ski slopes, Hotel Le Ortensie offers a garden with gazebo and free bike hire. It includes a homemade continental breakfast and mountain-style rooms and suites. Suites come with elegant décor and textiles, and are set on the upper floors, reached by a staircase. Set 500 metres from the historic centre of Roccaraso, the property is 6 km from the mediaeval village of Pescocostanzo. Lake Barrea is a 30-minute drive away.

The restaurant is open for dinner from December until Easter and from July until the end of August.
