This Van der Valk Hotel offers spacious rooms in a peaceful setting next to the Old Rhine River, 10 minutes’ drive from the heart of Leiden. It includes a fitness centre, an elegant restaurant with an intimate terrace facing the Oude Rijn river. The hotel has a a Golden Green Key certificate, which means that it meets a high standard of environmental requirements. Each of the air-conditioned rooms at Van der Valk Hotel Leiden has a flat-screen cable TV, seating area and a work desk. They also have a private bathroom with a shower, bath and hairdryer. The bar brasserie is situated in the monumental part of the building, where the old inn was situated in 1629. Guests can enjoy coffee, lunch, drinks and dinner here. Guests can enjoy one of the many international gourmet-style dishes including seasonal specialities such as game. On request guests benefit from a free shuttle service to the train station. The shuttle is not avaible during public holidays. Bicycles and e-bikes can be rented to explore the area. The hotel offers a charging point and a secured bicycle shed. The famous Keukenhof gardens in Lisse are 20 minutes away by car. The Hague is a 15-minute car journey from Van der Valk.

A damage deposit of EUR 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via bank transfer, subject to an inspection of the property. Guests are kindly requested to inform the hotel of how many guests will be staying in the room by either using the comments box during the booking process or by contacting the hotel by telephone after booking. Please note that extra beds are only possible in the Comfort Room with Balcony. Please note that breakfast is EUR 16 when booking in advance and otherwise EUR 17.50. Van der Valk Hotel Leiden has the right to pre-authorise your credit card. Please note that dinner can be booked which consists of a 3-course meal.
