Kasteel de Wittenburg is an authentic, monumental masterpiece that dates back to 1899 built by Jonkheer Helenus Marius Speelman. The castle is located on a large estate in Wassenaar enclosed behind a breathtaking nature trail. The castle has original architectural elements such as beautiful large windows and fireplaces and is elegantly decorated with parquet floors.There are 10 beautiful hotel rooms, each with its own unique atmosphere. The room also includes a bathroom, air conditioning, and a view of the park-like estate.We would like to address that due to the fact that this is a monumental building, the acoustics in the castle are accentuated.A Continental Breakfast is available between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. by reservation. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room or can be requested to be brought to your hotel room.In our castle is a Restaurant named after Sophie Adriënne Baroness Slot van Old-ruitenborgh, Mr. Speelman’s wife.Restaurant Sophie is in an enclosed location downstairs with a contemporary traditional cuisine based off of a French kitchen with a hint of Asian influence.We look forward to welcoming you to Kasteel de Wittenburg.
