This quaint and cosy property offers a warm hospitable service combined with all the services needed for a truly relaxing stay. The granite construction of Quinta Formosa dates back to the end of the 19th century, when it was used as a private wine cellar. The farm has excellent panoramic views. In the east is Vila de Belmonte, Pedro álvares Cabral’s birthplace, and in the west is the village of Vale Formoso. Forget daily cares with a dip in the hotel’s outdoor saltwater pool before retiring to the rustic comfort of your guest room. With just 5 rooms, hotel staff are always available to answer any queries you may have.

This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Swimming pool #1 is closed from Fri 30 Sept 2022 until Thu 15 Jun 2023
