Charming holiday home in the heart of the historic Albayzín quarter of Granada; with wonderful views to the Alhambra, the Generalife and the Sacromonte; ideal for couples and small families; located in a pedestrian street at 3 min from Plaza Nueva (Reg. Nr.: VFT/GR/00082)
Our lovely and cosy town house has been comfortably furnished to provide ideal accommodation for couples and families alike. It is located in a pedestrian street in the historic centre at about 3 minutes walking distance from Plaza Nueva. It enjoys a wonderful and direct view to the Alhambra, the Generalife gardens and the Sacromonte from the lounge and the roof terrace.
On the ground floor you will find a bedroom with a large double bed (150 cm x 190 cm), the kitchen and the bathroom. The entire first floor is a charming open lounge with a double sofa-bed (135cm x 180cm) for 2 people, a dining area and very nice views to the Moorish Alhambra Fortress-Palace. From the roof terrace you will enjoy spectacular open views not only to the Alhambra but also to the Generalife gardens and the entire Sacromonte valley.
The house is completely furnished and equipped with all mayor commodities. In the kitchen, you will find a gas cooker, fridge, washer/dryer, microwave oven, mixer, kettle, coffee-maker, etc. An hair dryer, iron and ironing board are also available. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet and basin.
The house is fully air-conditioned. The heating works via heat pump and electrical heaters. A cot is available on request. There is also colour TV, digital satellite with international channels, audio equipment with CD player, phone and wireless Internet access.
Key handling will be done personally. Although we do not live close to the house, we will always be available by phone for any question or possible eventualities.
The house lies in a pedestrian street the heart of the historical Albayzín quarter of Granada. From there all mayor sites in Granada (Alhambra, Generalife, Cathedral, Royal Chapel, etc.) are within walking distance. Public transport and taxi stands are available at Plaza Nueva at 5 min walking distance. Since the private traffic is restricted in the historic city center, the use of public transport, taxi and underground car parks is highly recommend. The historic cobble stone pavement advises not to make use of high heel shoes.
Granada is well connected by bus, train, motorway and plane through the airports in Granada or Málaga. Within the city, there is public transport to all mayor sites and places of interest. Alternatively, a tourist bus or taxi service may also be used. There are basically no parking opportunities close to the house.
