Large house restored in its entirety. It is located in a small town in l’Alt Emporda, Cantallops. Cantallops is located on the southern slopes of the Albera mountain range, in an area where the mountain dissolves into a forest plain of cork oaks, holm oaks and oaks. Currently it is a town of 300 inhabitants where tranquility, the north wind and the lively silence of nature are normal. Castell de Requesens: A must-see castle if you are in the area. It is worth going to see it by taking a small excursion that you can carry out both on foot and by bicycle and enjoy the landscape, the streams, bridges ... (obviously you can also get there by car).

In addition, on the north side of the town is the Requesens mountain, in the Albera Natural Park of National Interest (PNIN), which preserves a very rich fauna and flora, the remains of the castle of Requesens, of medieval origin and renovated in 1899, pre-industrial elements such as lime kilns, dozens of old charcoal kilns, snow and ice pits, several 19th century farmhouses and an intake and a sawmill from the early 20th century.
Historically, the material wealth of the town has been based on agriculture, especially wine and olive trees, and livestock, although, especially during the 19th century, the small cork industry was very important. Today, the tertiary sector occupies most of the local economy. For this reason, the wine and oil produced in the same town and its surroundings is of great culinary value, differentiated from the DO Emporda.
The privileged surroundings make it a must for lovers of hiking, mountain biking, road cycling ...
At the same time, in 5 minutes by car you will find La Jonquera, with different shopping and leisure centers. It should be noted that they are just a few minutes by car or motorcycle from the beaches and the infinite destinations to visit and enjoy the Costa Brava.
All this makes it an oasis of peace and tranquility.
Just 5 minutes by car from the entrance to the highway, the main national roads that connect with the capital of the region, Figueres. In Figueres / Vilafant, there are several public transports, apart from the bus and the train, there is the high-speed train (AVE), recommended if you want to go to Barcelona.
