Wine tastings featuring a selection of local wines are offered at the on-site wine cellar at a surcharge. The elegant, historic-style rooms come with parquet flooring, wooden ceilings and high-quality furniture. Guests can fully relax and unwind without getting distracted by electronic devices. Delicacies made from fresh, regional products, refined beef dishes, and selected wines and spirits from the region and Italy are served in the restaurant and on the courtyard terrace. Various culinary events take place regularly. The town of Avenches and exit 28 of the A1 motorway are 5 km away from the Salavaux Chateau. Lake Murten can be reached by car within 5 minutes.
