Kocanlı Manor is a 2500 year old historical building located in Candarlı, a holiday village in Dikili, Izmir. It was built in 1859 to protect female children from the raid of Greek bandits from Lesbos Island in 1820. With its sheltered structure, this remarkable manor was designed as a rectangular shaped, two storey building.After the Population Exchange between Greece and Turkey in 1923, the manor welcomed its new owners. The Manor was assigned to families from Greece, Kavala, and Diranic and then it became three separate apartments split apart from each other by traditional walls.With the restoration works initiated by the Candarlı Municipality between 2010-2014, the mansion was restored faithfully in accordance to the period in which it was built and turned into a boutique hotel. The additional building in the garden of Kocanlı Manor is used as a reception in the hotel.A unique holiday experience awaits guests at our hotel, where the extraordinary beauty of the Aegean region with the magnificent energy of the historical fabric of the Manor.There are two deluxe rooms in the hotel with the view of the sea. An extra bed can be placed when necessary. A minibar, TV, AC, and safe are available in all our rooms.
