Newly Refurbished from Summer 2022, located at the foot of Arthur’s Seat on the edge of Holyrood Park, The Scott is a luxury hotel, originally built in the 1780s, that still boasts many of its original features, including the spectacular Red Room Bar, grand dining room, ornately carved wood panelling, fire places and stained glass windows. With no two rooms the same, the 36 junior suites and deluxe bedrooms blend modern luxury with the grandeur and grace of the original building. All bedrooms feature Elite™ Lily mattresses and the highest quality duvets, pillows and bed linens to ensure the best possible night’s sleep. The luxury experience is completed with beautifully designed en-suite bathrooms including fluffy towels and Isgha spa products. You’ll enjoy breakfast in our elegant dining room with windows overlooking the hotel’s private garden, and you can enjoy a drink or refreshment in our Red Room Bar, where we offer an honesty bar and self-service daily between the hours of Midday and 01.00am. Alternatively, our Scholar Restaurant and Bar lounge is situated in The Scholar Hotel next door, where the restaurant offers an informal evening a la carte service, and a menu packed with the finest Scotland has to offer. The Scott is located in City’s vibrant Southside area and is only a short walk away from Edinburgh’s world famous landmarks. We acknowledge the importance of pets as cherished family members, and it's our pleasure to extend our hospitality to them. We kindly request guests who plan to bring pets to notify us after booking their stay. Charges are applicable.
