The 4-star Inn On The Lake has a 2 AA Rosette restaurant. The hotel is in 15 acres of grounds, with lawns up to the shores of Lake Ullswater. The Inn On The Lake offers stylish en suite rooms with freeview TV, free WiFi and tea/coffee facilities. Some rooms have striking mountain and lake views. Awarded with 2 AA Rosettes, the Lake View Restaurant serves a fine menu using local produce. The Ramblers Bar and Candleroom serves real ales and food. The Orangery offers panoramic views of the lake, grounds and surrounding fells where you can enjoy afternoon tea. Set in the Lake District, Inn on the Lake offers a 9-hole pitch and putt golf course, a croquet lawn and 3 private jetties.

In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), wearing a face mask is mandatory in all indoor common areas. When booking 5 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply. From January 4th to March 2023 we are redeveloping our outside terrace at the front of the hotel into a beautiful new drinking and dining area. Please note, during this period there will be extensive works going on with heavy machinery and the terrace will not be accessible. Part of the garden and lakeshore will still be open for our guests to enjoy.
