The original house is around 300 years old and has been carefully refurbished to make it a comfortable and stylish holiday cottage in Oxfordshire. With stone walls, an inglenook fireplace, wood beams and floors, this is a perfect getaway cottage to enjoy a short break, a long holiday to discover the area or as a relocation property for a longer stay. ABOUT OUR HOLIDAY COTTAGE Ground floor -The front door leads into the main living room with wood floors, comfortable three seat sofa and easy chair, wood beams and large open inglenook style fireplace. -Bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin. -Kitchen with wood floor and ample worktop space for cooking, oven, grill, hob, fridge-freezer. Dining table and seating for six. Light and airy with large window looking out onto the patio garden. First Floor -Spiral staircase leads up to the first floor. -Bedroom one is a double bedroom with bedside tables and wardrobe -Bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin. -Study room with desk, chair and single sofa bed. Access to bedroom two is through this room. Second floor (via stairs) -Bedroom two is a spacious double bedroom with wood floors, side tables and wardrobe. OUTSIDE There is a secure, walled courtyard garden at the rear of the property with table and chairs. PARKING The Kissing Cottage is situated in a quiet side-road with no through traffic. There is garage parking for one vehicle and another space in front of the property. THINGS TO NOTE There is height restriction in the top attic bedroom Bedroom two is accessed through the study / bedroom three ABOUT THE NEIGHBOURHOOD Kirtlington is a pretty village with two local bistro-pubs within walking distance, The Oxford Arms and The Dashwood.
