Rhins of Galloway offers high-quality accommodation in a garden setting overlooking Loch Ryan. It is situated between the ports of Stranraer and Cairnryan, and offers free on-site parking. The guest house is just a 1-minute drive to the P&O port (Cairnryan to Larne) and 3 minutes to the Stena Line port (Cairnryan to Belfast). A shingle beach and coastal walks are 20 yards away. Breakfast is freshly prepared and made to order. The property does not have a licensed bar, but various bars, restaurants and pubs are available locally.

Check-in after 23:00 is not possible. Parking is free and does not require booking, but only 1 parking space is available per room, and vehicles over 7 metres in length cannot be accommodated on-site. The breakfast room opens at 07:30, with last orders taken by 09:30.
