Ellerbrook House is situated close to the shops, restaurants & cafes of Windermere village & just 15 minutes walk from Bowness & the shores of Lake Windermere. We are a family run guest house providing quality accommodation in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Previously it had been owned by Miss Brownlow, Who was a friend of Beatrix Potter She would have been 150 years old in 2016 ! .it is rumoured Beatrix visited her here on occasions.
