Located in historic Grant Grove, this lodge features an on site family-friendly restaurant. Horseback riding is featured on the property and guest rooms offer forest views. The rustically-inspired guest rooms feature hand crafted wood furniture in a bright and natural light-filled atmosphere. An iPod docking station and work desk are included at John Muir Lodge. Tea and coffee-making facilities are provided. Guests can enjoy games, puzzles, and books in the lobby great room while relaxing by the stone fireplace. Free Wi-Fi is also available in all public spaces. A gift shop and King’s Canyon Visitors Center are both on site. Lodge John Muir also offers The Grant Grove Restaurant, featuring American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. An espresso bar is available on site for easy access to coffee and snacks. Visalia is 1 hour and 30 minutes’ drive from the lodge. Hume is 16 miles away.

Guests must provide a credit card when checking in. The hotel will pre-authorize your card and the pre-authorization will be released if there are no extra charges or damage to the room when checking out.
