You can engage in various activities, such as snorkelling, diving and hiking. Lava Tree State Park is 10 km from Kirpal Meditation Ecological Center. Wai ‘Opae Tidepools Marine Life Conservation District is 4.1 km away. Hilo Airport is 40 minutes' drive from the property.

There is a cash only late check-in fee if you arrive after 21:00. The kitchen is strictly vegetarian. No eggs, meat, or fish is permitted. Drugs and alcohol are also prohibited on the property as well. The property is a yoga and meditation Center. Daily yoga classes and meals (breakfast and dinner) are offered at an additional cost.
