Merlot Mountain Haven is privately set on 18 acres made up of typical Granite Belt native bushland, rock formations, fields, nature and Australian wildlife. Staying at Merlot Mountain Haven means you can relax and truly experience the peaceful country scenery and a unique property all to yourself.

Merlot Mountain is more than just a place to stay... It is a way for you to relax and enjoy a country experience inclusive of all the Granite Belt has to offer, from the comfort of a luxury home. Bring your friends and family as this place sleeps up to 6 people. Regardless of how many guests, you will have the privacy of the entire house.

With all the amenities that make up a modern comfortable home, Merlot Mountain Haven is your home away from home. This is true retreating in a peaceful house on private acreage. The house has all the luxuries you'd want and still feels welcoming and cozy.

Interior
The charming country house is all set on one level, and comes with a spacious living and dining room with a slow combustion fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. It is recently built, bringing you all the modern comforts and luxury while oozing a traditional country vibe.

Verandah
There is nothing more inviting and welcoming than the wraparound verandah alongside three sides of the house. A perfect spot where memories are shared and created, great conversations had, books read and stories told.

Fenced garden
When staying with children and or dogs, a large, fully fenced garden creates just that peace of mind.

Master bedroom with private ensuite
Mountain Ash, the master bedroom comes with a private ensuite and walk-in robe, and a comfortable queen sized bed. When staying here, you will also have access to the main bathroom and a separate toilet.

Bedrooms
For bookings for 1 or 2 people happy to share a room, the Mountain Ash Master bedroom is automatically allocated. If you need more bedrooms, please select 3 to 6 people. For 3 to 4 people, the Manna room with a queen bed is added. For 5 to 6 people the Karra room is allocated which has a king bed that is split into two single beds. 
We close off rooms that are not booked. Please contact us if you are unsure how to make your booking, we'd be happy to help!

Fireplace
Yes, we love the Granite Belt for its cool winters and nothing beats sitting next to a cosy fire! During the colder seasons, we will set up the fireplace for you so it's ready to go when you arrive. But don't worry, there is a supply of firewood all year round for you to have that fireplace experience - just because you can!

Piano
To cater for your musical inspiration, there's a small piano situated in the living room for you to enjoy.

Dog friendly
We welcome dogs, large or small, upon prior approval. Contact us prior to booking to see if you can bring your four legged friend with you. We do ask that you provide us with the type and number of dogs that you are bringing and you comply with our dog rules. We want our future guests to have the same wonderful experience, so please note that a dog fee of $70 for up to two dogs will be charged after booking as well as any costs to cover damages as a result of bringing your dog(s).

Merlot Mountain Haven is a private property set on acreage with plenty of parking available. All within 10 minutes from Stanthorpe.

You will receive a code to access the front door closer to your check-in that will be valid during your stay. That way you can come and go as you please as it is a self-contained property. That said, if you have any questions during your stay, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Merlot Mountain Haven is a fully self-contained property and there is no restaurant on site. However, there are many quality restaurants all just within a short drive. And if you feel like being creative, there is a fully equipped kitchen and there are three supermarkets in Stanthorpe only five minutes away.

We provide breakfast hampers and gourmet cheese platters - simply contact us to add them to your (URL HIDDEN) Gluten free options are available. We need at least 24 hours notice, so if you forgot to add this when booking, just get in touch in time and we'd be happy to assist.
