Welcome to our farm “Trawalla” which is indigenous for “much water”.
It is beautiful, spacious, peaceful and is perfect for family get togethers, multi family holidays or people who just want to enjoy rural life for a while.
The house is fully renovated, easily sleeps 13 people and can have two families staying side by side (if booking together). There are bikes, a tennis court, swimming pool and animals to pat over the fence. Visiting dogs, cats and even horses can be included by request.
We are located about half an hour away from most places in Canberra, two and a half hours from the South Coast, under two hours from the Snowy Mountains and 40 minutes from Goulburn and Queanbeyan. While being very close to all the attractions in the Nation’s Capital, we are close to Bungendore, Gundaroo and Gungahlin where there are some really special dining options and a stone’s throw from wedding venues such as Petricor Farm, Tallegandra Hill Winery and Grazing Restaurant.
The house is fully renovated with 2 kitchens, two bathrooms, a bar/ study area, exercise gym room, 4 bedrooms and 3 living areas. There is also a large pool bar which can be booked additionally. It easily sleeps 13+ people comfortably and can have two families staying side by side (if booking together). There are bikes, a tennis court, swimming pool and animals to pat over the fence. Visiting dogs, cats and even horses can be included by request.
This property was originally settled as a gold mining camp and subsequently became a sheep farm. Today it is a working farm that is home to our racehorses, chickens, ducks, peacocks, dogs and cats.
We have our beautiful, friendly family members living on site who are very handy and able to help with any issues you may have.
We really hope you appreciate this little slice of rural Australian heaven. We are so lucky to be able to give you the experience of a working Australian farm, so close to a city centre and we hope you enjoy yourself!
Please do not access:
o Any areas marked with an authorised entry sign, such as the stables, all paddocks without express permission;
o The stable area and horse walker areas;
o The area over the hill behind the chicken shed;
o Any of the sheds, tool sheds etc;
o The bar area if you have not booked it;
o The pool area unless you are supervising all children;
o The private accommodation in the converted shearing shed.
You may walk on the racetrack (unless it is being used by horses) and the main driveway.
