Across the road are the all-important amenities and shops.

Along the continuous stretch of sandy bay coastline, the focal point is Rosebud Pier which extends about 300 metres into the water and is popular for fishing and boating. The foreshore beaches around Rosebud provide safe swimming and have picnic areas and parklands for families to enjoy. Rosebud also has several golf courses and more options can be found only a short drive away.
Rosebud's main shopping strip offers a variety of shops, boutiques, restaurants and cafes as well as the Rosebud Plaza and local cinema complex. The shopping precinct is a great place to explore featuring paved areas, garden spaces and several wood carvings of notable local identities from the past.
