Shhh…. Do you want to know a secret? Sometimes we all need to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and allow ourselves to relax, rejuvenate, reset and reconnect with nature.
Come join us in the south west forest. The property is adjacent to the Gloucester National Park and set back from the main road, where you can pick up both the Bibbulmun Track (walking) and Munda Biddi Trail (biking). We are an easy walk to the climbable Gloucester Tree and Pemberton Pool and a short drive from a variety of other attractions listed. Or simply sit back and enjoy the sights, scents and sounds of our picturesque gardens and spot the wide variety of butterflies, birds and flowers. It’s a home away from homes without the housework.
Our accommodation offers luxury with a focus on wellness and has been decorated with the delights of our forest flora and fauna in mind. This stunning wooden house was built in 2002 by an antique dealer who has tastefully incorporated reclaimed crystal lead glass double doors as well as jarrah doors, sash windows, floorboards and skirting boards from a period house built in the 1800’s in Applecross, Perth.
Our well-appointed rooms contain queen and long single beds all with the highest quality orthopaedic mattresses as well as anti-allergen mattresses, mattress toppers, pillows and pillow protectors as standard. Our beds are draped in breathable, long staple one-thousand thread count satin weave cotton sheets for a silky soft feel against your skin. All bedrooms are airconditioned with split systems, circulation fans and built-in robes with shelving. Luxury continues with showers big enough for two and make sure you make use of the locally sourced natural made toiletries, infused with essential oils, so you can close your eyes and let the aromas take you even deeper into our gardens and forest. Then select which towels you wish to wrap yourself up in from your bale of carefully sourced soft, plush, light weight and yet absorbent quality cotton towels.
Your privacy is assured as the house only accepts one booking at a time.. The accommodation consists of three bedrooms (one queen and two twin long singles) and one bathroom upstairs with a an additional queen bedroom and second bathroom downstairs (complete with grab rails).
There's a kitchenette, lounge/dining room, large undercover veranda, idyllic front gardens with lawn, garden beds and pagoda as well as parking provisions. The lounge contains a large stocked bookcase, two large sash window seats, smart television with Netflix, DVD/CD player, use of PlayStation Kinnect with various games. The lounge has a wood burner available in the winter months so you can sit and listen to the gentle crackle of the fire. There is a BBQ complete with gas stove and ample seating area on the veranda. A fire pit is available in the winter months for use in the garden. Your kitchenette comprises of a Lavazza coffee machine, kettle, small fridge freezer, toaster, microwave, ironing facilities and a variety of plates, cutlery and glasses. For your protection and peace of mind the property also has monitored CCTV to the front and rear of the property and is fully fenced with gates at the front entrance. Wi-Fi is available to all guests as is a pre-paid Netflix service.
Your complimentary breakfast comprises of home made bread, granola, a selection of jams, yoghurt, seasonal fruit, cakes, fruit juice, teas and coffees which is served as early or late as you require.
From a wellness aspect there are goodies including essential oil diffusers in each bedroom, essential oil shower fizzes, wellness magazines and prompts to inspire you to be mindful.
Your private onsite treatment room is located at the end of your veranda, which is closed the public during your stay. We provide tailored face, hand and/or foot massages as well as reiki, the perfect antidote after a busy week, aching muscles after a walking/bike trail or just as a great way to relax. All guests are gifted one $15 discount towards one treatment per stay.
