Heritage Listed Sandstone Cottage - Sydney Description
If you want a bit of ‘old world’ magic and feel like stepping back in time to a bygone era then this adorable little colonial style worker’s cottage you can’t go past, being only ten minutes walk into the centre of Sydney’s beautiful Emerald City! Downstairs there is a cozy living area complete with original stone walls to give you that sense of old rustic Sydney charm, with an extremely comfortable living area complete with sofabed. The Space: Step into a practical kitchen with gas cooktop, microwave and a sun-filled glass rooved dining area. Off the kitchen is a cute little bathroom with open shower. Head up the wooden staircase and you enter an extremely generous sized bedroom with Kingsize bed. You also have your own study area and off the study is a cute little outdoor balcony. Bed Configuration The property has 1 bedroom and 1 bed. Bedroom 1: King size bed (sleep 2) Living room: Sofa bed (sleep 2) The Neighborhood: Restaurants and Entertainment There are so many restaurants to choose from in this area that there are too many to list. In the plaza at Palmer St. there are a number of restaurants to choose from whilst up in Burton St. on the corner of Forbes and Burton is ‘Rusty Rabbit’….this is a favourite of mine with great coffee, food and friendly wait staff. Head up to Darlinghurst Rd. and you have Mexican or try ‘Almond’ on Liverpool St. which has incredible Syrian food with GREAT cocktails! If you head to Stanley St. there are quite a few restaurants to choose from with Thai, Japanese, Italian and Modern Australian. Try ‘Verde’. You will love it! Getting Around: Transport: Not that you really need to go far to venture into the city but if you don’t feel like walking the 389 bus stops right around the corner on Stanley St. and heads straight through the city to Circular Quay. From here you can catch a myriad of ferries which will take you out to Manly Beach, Taronga Park Zoo(definitely worth the visit), Watson’s Bay to experience Doyle’s seafood restau
