Built in 1913 as a central hub of Government services, The Old Government Building or O.G.B as it is affectionately known, was later vacated in the 80's and converted into apartments in '96. The strengthening work undertaken in the 90’s was the reason the OGB was the only Heritage listed building to survive the devastating earthquakes. This is a rare opportunity to soak up Christchurch's history from literally the centre of the city. With access to a Gym, Pool, Spa, Sauna and Parking, why not?
Ours is a grand, light-filled 1 bdrm apartment located in the heart of Christchurch City. If you are looking for opulence as well as location, you will love this apartment as much as we do. Our apartment is located on the second floor of the O.G.B, which can be easily accessed by a lift. The apartment itself is very spacious, and features a living room with a full leather couch, large north facing windows, and a Smart TV with free Netflix.

We have a fully equipped kitchen with quality appliances and kitchenware should you wish to cook. There is also a dining area with seating for four.

Stairs lead up to the loft-bedroom, which has a luscious California King bed, piled high with pillows and luxurious linen. The bed is perhaps one of the best features of our apartment - it is like sleeping on a cloud - and many guests say it is the best bed they have ever slept on. There is a second TV in the bedroom, with access to Netflix.

The bedroom also features a spacious wardrobe, and an ensuite style toilet/ bathroom.
There is a washer/dryer in the bathroom for your convenience.

The full healthclub is located on the basement level of our building and is available 365 days a year for our guests.
