Mapleview Cottage is a warm and modern two level holiday home built in a quiet corner of the older part of Lake Tekapo village.
The upper level comprises of a lounge, fully equipped kitchen , bathroom and two bedrooms. The ground level is rented separately as the Apartment at Mapleview and only sleeps 2 people.
It is about a 6 minute walk down Murray Place or along the Tekapo river bank to get to the lake, the Church of the Good Shepherd, the Sheepdog Statue and a couple of more minutes across the footbridge, and you will be in the center of town with its restaurants and bars.
We are famous for our night sky viewing and you can do this for free, or take a professional tour. There are a collections of Hot Pools at Tekapo Springs and a day spa. During the winter you can ice skate here as well, and we have 2 ski fields within 30 minutes drive of the village.
