Featuring views of the Tasman Sea, The Old Slaughterhouse Traveller's Lodge in Hector offers self-catering accommodation. The simple, cosy rooms in an annex building, are surrounded by a large deck, allowing guests to enjoy views of the sunset over the Tasman Sea. In the main building there is a shared lounge with a log fire and a fully equipped shared kitchen and shared bathrooms. The Old Slaughterhouse Traveller's Lodge is located on a steep hillside, 100 metres above the Tasman Sea. It is only accessible by a 10-minute bush walk up the hill. The hosts can transport your luggage via prior arrangement. The lodge is 30 km north of Westport.

This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please note that the lodge is only accessible by a 10-minute walking track up a hill. The track is quite steep in some places and therefore may be unsuitable for some guests.
