From Akita Airport: About 80 minutes by taxi at around JPY 15,000; about 120 minutes by bus at around JPY 6,000.
From JR Konoura Station: 10 minutes by car.
From Kisakata Station (Uetsu Main Line): 15 minutes by car. There is a free shuttle service from Kisakata Station (please make a reservation in advance for pick-up between 12:00 and 17:00).
By car: About 5 minutes from Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway Konoura IC. Exit the Nihonkai-Tohoku Expressway at Konoura IC and take Route 7. Take the entrance road to Nikaho Fire Department and then take the mountain-side road. *Konoura IC is the closest interchange. Please be aware that exiting at Kisakata IC will result in a roundabout trip.
