You can even choose from two types of cruise boats, a modern and romantic yacht or a traditional wooden perahu.

2. Cycle At Putrajaya Botanical Garden
Itching for fresh air and some light exercise? Break a good sweat by going for a cycle at one of Putrajaya's prettiest parks! Dotted with lots of meandering paths that are great for cycling and 5 themed gardens with beautiful blooms, the Putrajaya Botanical Garden is a gem for cyclists. We'd recommmend you to head over in the morning or evening to beat the heat!

3. Visit Putrajaya Mosques And Cultural Sites
The city of Putrajaya is home to many cultural sites, including some of the prettiest mosques in Malaysia. Among these is the picturesque Putra Mosque (Masjid Putra), the most distinctive landmark located on the banks of the Putrajaya Lake and is constructed in rose-tinted granite (thus giving it its iconic desert-pink hue). The Putrajaya Wetlands Park is Malaysia's first man-made freshwater wetland and is the largest one yet. Being so lush with flora and fauna, the huge park is perfect for a revitalising and leisurely nature walk, especially if you're looking for short daytime escape.

Picnics are the perfect idea to get some fresh air and sunshine away from crowds while catching up with your loved ones, and Taman Saujana Hijau in Putrajaya is personally our favourite spot to have picnics in the Klang Valley. Filled with shady pine trees, pretty slopes, and a beautifully-landscaped park, this 41-hectare park consists of 3 gardens and tons of open spaces for you to spread your mat while being surrounded by lots of pretty flowers!

7. Rock Climb And Skate At Putrajaya Challenge Park
Made for sports enthusiasts and thrill seekers, the Putrajaya Challenge Park spans over 30-hectares and is well-equipped with extreme sports facilities such as a giant indoor rock climbing centre, an elaborate BMX and skateboard park, as well as outdoor bike trails. Challenge your friends to skateboard trick challenges here, or go for a full body workout with a rock climbing session. The entrance fee for the park is also very affordable (only RM6 for adults and RM3 for students), which adds to its popularity.

There are five types of bus services operating from Putrajaya Sentral in Precinct 7. NadiPutra Bus, a commuter bus service, offers the most comprehensive bus routes coverage within the city.

By Train
The KLIA Transit train service from KL Sentral station to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport stops at Putrajaya. It takes about 20 minutes.

By Taxi
Taxis are plentiful; alternatively, use ride-hailing service Grab to get around.
