Located in the centre of General Luna on the beautiful island of Siargao, our new homestay is just two minutes walk from the beach off Tourism Road. Many restaurants and stores nearby but the house is set back from the road and is nice and restful.
This listing is for a private room,with toilet and H&C shower, queen size bed and AC.
The bedrooms are upstairs, there is also a lovely large living area below which has a dining area, kitchen and comfy seats and hammocks to laze away the hours on.
Very central and handy for all local amenities as well as the beach
The property is set back from Tourism Road in General Luna. All amenities and entertainments such as bars and restaurants are close by.
There are two bedrooms on the second floor with a surrounding veranda allowing for pleasant sunset views. Both bedrooms are spacious and have a queen size bed, toilet and hot/cold shower.
There is a large living area and kitchen downstairs on the Ground floor. This living area is shared with other guests, allowing you to socialise if you want. It comprises a dining area, kitchenette, fridge, cooking equipment, hammocks and comfy seating.

Getting around:
From the airport a bus is available to the town centre, ask to be dropped off at 'El Lobos' or 'Payeye', our host will meet you there, then it is less than a 1 minute walk to the property. Scooters are widely available for hire in the area, just ask your host who lives on site. Full details will be supplied on booking
Interaction with Guest:
Your host is on site and available 24 hours a day. She will be happy to help with local tour bookings, food orders and the like.
Room is private with its own toilet and shower room. There is a large communal area on the ground floor with seats and tables as well as a small cooking area, fridge and freezer and washing machine
Your local host can help you during your stay, with matters such as directions, advise on car/ bike hire, day trips etc She can also go shopping for you and assist in preparing meals. Feel free to ask.

Everything is nearby with the beach, restaurants, bars, clubs and stores just a few minutes away.
Scooters, motorbikes and trikes can be easily hired from various locations nearby. Cars and vans are also available to rent with driver or self drive. Local motorbike taxis and trikes are readily available on Tourism road and can be flagged down for trips to Cloud 9 and elsewhere. It is about about 30 peso to Cloud 9 ( less than 1 USD.) Your host, will happily give advice or make bookings/reservations on your behalf, just ask!

Please note that the municipality requires us to collect an environmental conservation fee (tax) from every guest at check in. This is PHP 300 per guest, if staying more than 3 nights, and PHP 200 per guest if staying 3 nights or less. (Reference Municipality of General Luna Tax Ordinance 001-22, s 2022)
We would ask all guests to help care for the environment and turn off the hot water heater for the shower and also the AC when not in use.
Please note that the island is still recovering from Typhoon Odette last year, as a result there can be occasional power cuts.
