At the Canal Next Door you are able to take a step back from the hustle and bustle of the city, and go back in time and experience what Bangkok was like 35 years ago. This building holds a lot of history as it is over 60 years old. Built right before the Vietnam War.

You can explore the backwaters of the canals through the ancient capital, Thonburi, or take a quick taxi to the BTS skytrain.

Take a less than a minute walk and enjoy the views of the canal and a delicious Thai meal at our local restaurant. Wat Arun and the Temple of Dawn are only a five minute walk away. Indulge in some delicious Thai delicacies at the Wang Lang street market before hopping on a river ferry that takes you to the Grand Palace, Wat Pho (reclining Buddha temple) and much more. Or grab a cab to the city center, only a few minutes away.

At the Canal Next Door you can experience the lively Bangkok from the other side of the river while still being a short ride into the main city.
