The safety and wellbeing of guests and staff remain the top priority for LVH. In response to the sudden spike in COVID-19 cases in Thailand, we have decided to enforce the following requirements for new arrivals:

The Headland provides a safe environment for guests and staff; however, it is each individual's responsibility is to take appropriate care to safeguard themselves.

To this end, we outline the Requirements for Guests and Staff which apply to "The Headland" ("Headland") and The View ("The View").

Effective from 18th April 2021 until 30th April, the following government announcement when it could be extended

REDZONE
Aligned closely with the announcement of Suratthani Province and The InterContinental Hotel, Guests will not be accepted at The Headland from areas designated Red Zones.
As of 20th April, there are 18 provinces, including Bangkok Phuket and Chang Mai. Designated as RED Zones

Guest may not quarantine at The Headland.

ORANGE ZONE
Guest from Orange Zones outside of Koh Samui must provide a Covid negative test before travelling to Samui no later than 72 hours before arrival to be allowed entry to The Headland.

Guests may not wait for Test results at The Headland.
Guests must present test result upon arrival.

The Headland Villas Estate is located adjacent to InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort, which features a beachfront restaurant as well as water sports activities. The white sand beach shared with InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort is accessible through private stairs. The summer tide phenomenon makes the sea retract itself up to 100 meters from the beach line.

For our exclusively managed villas, we operate to 5-star standards and have adapted our usual practices in line with World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines and best global practices to ensure the villas remain a COVID-safe getaway:

To further ensure your safety in line with international cleanliness standards, we will professionally disinfect hard surface areas to ensure all areas are duly covered prior to check-in.

Daily cleaning of common areas as well as bedrooms and bathrooms.

Your safety
Hand sanitizers are available in every villa. Face masks are available on request.

Staff will wear masks, regularly wash their hands and undergo daily temperature checks. Kitchen staff wear masks and gloves. Staff during cleaning will wear a mask, face shield and gloves.

Any guests showing signs of fever, dry cough, sore throat, shortness of breath and muscle pain will be referred to the local hospital.

Our staff observe social distancing rules and will wear gloves when serving food and beverages.

‘Amazing Thailand Safety & Health Administration’ certification has been granted to the majority of our exclusively managed villas.

This certification is a government approved layer of safety to boost confidence among domestic and international tourists in regards to safety and health protocol.

Please take note that advance booking for chef service is required for boutique villas and it is subject to availability of chef.
Chef service costs THB1,500++/meal (lunch or dinner) or THB 2,500++/day (lunch and dinner) and subject to 10% service charge and 7% VAT.
Chef or in-villa shopping service is available at THB 300 or 20% of grocery cost as handling fee, whichever is greater and subject to 7% VAT.
Pre-arrival shopping service is available at THB 650 or 20% of grocery cost as handling fee, whichever is greater and subject to 7% VAT.
