Very cosy apartment and tastefully furnished, enriched by wooden beams, located in a residential area and less than 10 minutes walking from Piazza Maggiore and the Archiginnasio. This apartment, located on the second floor of a building with no lift, comes with a large and bright living area, with a double sofa bed, a TV and a dining area. In the same room there is an open plan kitchen, well equipped, fitted with every tool and electric appliances to cook, such as the oven, the dishwasher and the kettle. The bedroom is finely furnished with a queen size bed, a desk and a built-in open closet. A full bathroom with a shower completes the apartment. *Please be informed that the city centre is a limited-traffic zone, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the parkings and enjoying the old town on foot. The capital of Emilia-Romagna is also known as “Dotta” (erudite), being the oldest university of the West, as “Grassa” (fat) for its gastronomic delights and “Rossa” (red) for the colours characterising its old town. Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theatres, characterised by almost 40 kms of porticoes. In the city centre there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna can surprise you in every season. 2 minutes walking distance there is the bus stop “Tribunali” that allows guests to reach the central station with a 15-minutes drive while the airport is reachable with a 20-minutes drive.
