This home away from home is a place you can relax all year round. Slow down and enjoy this little haven in Summer, Autumn, Winter or Spring. You will be taken away by the mesmerising views of the iconic Hazards Mountain range, while being conveniently located in the centre of Coles Bay.

This two-bedroom cottage has spacious bedrooms, with a main bedroom looking out to the famous Hazards range. Open a book and snuggle up by a crackling woodfire in the cosy lounge room, or entertain loved ones in the well-equipped kitchen that has all you need to dine in. Spend days walking along the nearby beaches and enjoy breakfast or lunch on the balcony, while basking in the sun and sweeping views.

The Summer Shack is a wonderful and affordable space for small families, couples, or friends to stay, who are wanting to be close to everything in Coles Bay.

This sought-after location is a short stroll to the local Tavern, cafes & bakery, beaches, shop, ice creamery, park, tennis court and Wineglass Bay Cruises.

Take a short drive to the Freycinet National Park with walking tracks to the world renowned and awe-inspiring beauty of Wine Glass Bay. Hop aboard a Wine Glass Bay Cruise and enjoy the grandeur of the magnificent coastline line with an abundance of wildlife. Explore the majestic Cape Tourville lighthouse perched atop of the high granite cliffs.

When booking this house, you are booking the whole house, it is not a shared space.
This house is set on a large block, within walking distance to shops, cafes, the Tavern, the park, ice creamery, beaches and Wine Glass Bay Cruises.
You will need a vehicle, as there are no taxi services or uber's in Coles Bay.
Covid safety changes to note prior to your arrival:
Due to Covid safety, we have been advised to remove provisions and amenities that cannot be easily sanitised and to not proceed in sanitising food container & beverage container items. This includes items such as salt & pepper containers and cooking oil. Cardboard items such as al foil, cling wrap, paper towels and tissues etc have been removed for now.
Wherever we can, we have switched to individually portioned items such as dish power, washing power, tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper sachets.
All items are complimentary, and not included in the tariff, and are provided free of charge by the owner of the property.
We do hope this is only a temporary measure and we can get back to our usual procedures at some stage soon, however we are following strict Covid safe regulations and guidelines, including having an in depth Covid safety plan and enhanced and adequate cleaning procedures.
We have also removed the compendiums and have an online version for guests, we send this to guests in an email and there is also a QR code at the property to access this information on your own device.
These changes are in place to keep guests safe, and it is vital that we do everything possible to ensure guests remain as safe as possible while staying in any of Freycinet Holiday Houses properties.
