Little Violet is a delightful refurbished cottage nestled on a lovingly maintained one-acre garden in Tecoma. Owned by an interior decorator this sun-drenched cottage oozes style and charm. And with thoughtful design touches and plush furnishings throughout Little Violet promises you everything you want for an idyllic getaway.
The gorgeous bedroom includes a queen size bed that is dressed in luxurious linen, and plush robes and slippers are provided during your stay. The light filled sitting room features a beautiful gas log fireplace for cosy days in, or the room opens out on to a private balcony that overlooks the gorgeous garden setting for sunny days out. A fully equipped kitchen, smart TV with Netflix and ChromeCast capability, and sound system completes the picture when you consider a complimentary late checkout of 12 noon!
Oh and did we mentioned that the owner is also a talented cook who will spoil you with a gourmet breakfast hamper for the first two days of your stay and dazzle you with her home made treats (think Portuguese tarts and brownies).
Well located to experience the best of the Dandenong Ranges and a short drive to Sassafras, Olinda, Sherbrooke Forest and the historic Burnham Beeches.
Little Violet is yours for the duration of your stay with private parking for one car.

Although tucked away on an acre of gardens in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, there is much to see and do nearby. Tecoma itself has a wonderful Indian restaurant, elegant and perfect for a special occasion - Saffron Cottage. Upwey, a little township nearby, has the fabulous The Main Corner restaurant with outrageously great Asian fusion food. Then there's Belgrave with wall-to-wall cafés and quirky shops...
Venture further into the hills to Sherbrooke, Kallista, Sassafras, Olinda and Mt Dandenong...
You get the most out of a stay by having a car to get around, and it takes only a few minutes to half an hour to visit most locations in the Dandenong Ranges.

There are buses running between Montrose and Ferntree Gully or Monbulk.
WiFi access is included although do note that internet and phone reception in the Dandenong Ranges can be unstable and please understand we have no control over that. If you rely on wifi please bring a backup modem.
Please note check in is not available on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's day.
