The most convenient option is the Tuguegarao Airport (TUG), located approximately 200 kilometers away from your destination. Upon arrival at Tuguegarao, you can hire a private van or take a bus to the town of Tinglayan. The journey by road offers breathtaking views of the Cordillera mountains and lush rice terraces, making it a scenic adventure in itself. Expect the drive to take around 5 to 6 hours, so be sure to pack some snacks and enjoy the picturesque landscape along the way. Alternatively, if you fly into Baguio City, you can take a longer but equally rewarding route. From the Loakan Airport (BAG), you can catch a bus to the municipality of Bontoc, which is approximately 150 kilometers away. Once in Bontoc, you can transfer to a local jeepney or van that will take you directly to Buscalan.
