Maladee Hotel’s architectural design was inspired by the architecture of the Thai King Rama V period when western people came to do business in Chiang Mai. They brought along their culture and architecture, which can be seen nowadays along the hotel’s surrounding streets: Colonial buildings of Christian schools, French consulate and The Sacred Heart Cathedral.
