Semidetached Freycinet unit located on East Esplanade overlooking the pristine waters of Coles Bay. Freycinet Cottage – Unit 1 is a lovely one-bedroom unit set in rustic bushland surrounds. The unit has a queen-size bed and ensuite bathroom. Well catered kitchen and comfortable lounge area.
This is an ideal unit for a couple or lone traveller. Local shops and cafés are around the corner and Richardson’s Beach is a few minutes’ walk.

Sit on your own private balcony and enjoy a glass of good Tasmanian wine. Soak up the stunning scenery laid out in front of your cosy Freycinet unit. Look straight across Coles Bay at the beautiful Hazards mountains in Freycinet National Park. Only a 5-minute drive into the National Park to the Wineglass Bay lookout.
A wood fire heater will keep you warm during winter (Available May until end of September only)
When booking this cottage you are booking the whole cottage. It is not a shared space, however it is joined to another cottage. It is private with a completely separate entrance.
We leave you in privacy to enjoy your stay, we are just a phone call away if you need any information or assistance.
This property is in a fantastic location right opposite the water front and only a 1 minute walk to a café, ice creamery, shop and jetty.
You will need a vehicle to get here and to venture out to see the sights. There is no public transport here or taxi's.
Covid safety changes to note prior to your arrival:
Due to Covid safety, we have been advised to remove provisions and amenities that cannot be easily sanitised and to not proceed in sanitising food container & beverage container items. This includes items such as salt & pepper containers and cooking oil. Cardboard items such as al foil, cling wrap, paper towels and tissues etc have been removed for now.
Wherever we can, we have switched to individually portioned items such as dish power, washing power, tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper sachets.
All items are complimentary, and not included in the tariff, and are provided free of charge by the owner of the property.
We do hope this is only a temporary measure and we can get back to our usual procedures at some stage soon, however we are following strict Covid safe regulations and guidelines, including having an in depth Covid safety plan and enhanced and adequate cleaning procedures.
We have also removed the compendiums and have an online version for guests, we send this to guests in an email and there is also a QR code at the property to access this information on your own device.
These changes are in place to keep guests safe, and it is vital that we do everything possible to ensure guests remain as safe as possible while staying in any of Freycinet Holiday Houses properties.
