Overview
An exciting display in one day of the range of thrills and beauty northern Thailand has to offer. Beautiful mountains, rubber rafting down glorious tropical rivers, lush vegetation, diverse cultures, the exotic and magnificent elephant - one of the symbols of northern Thailand - all combined in one day to show you a little of everything. You may end your day a bit tired physically but you will be refreshed and stimulated mentally. This tour is suitable for all ages of average to above average fitness - and even if you think you are below average, you will surprise yourself! You will be accompanied by one of our well-trained and extremely accommodating Lisu Lodge guides, an expert in the area and its people, who will also act as an interpreter between you and the hilltribe people whom you will be meeting and chatting with. All safety equipment to international standards is supplied, as is a back-up vehicle for those wishing to opt out of any activity.
Itinerary:
7.30 am Transport from your Chiang Mai Hotel / Guest house - transport by Songthaew (pick-up with two rows of seats in the back)
	Welcome Drink at Lisu Lodge
	Cycling for 13km along quiet country roads.
	Elephant ride Ride an Elephant for about 1 hour to the Mae Taeng Elephant Camp.
	Picnic Lunch By the banks of the beautiful Mae Taeng river.
	White Water Rafting Down the Mae Taeng River. 45 minutes white water rafting on an inflatable raft (in the dry season it may have to be substituted with bamboo rafting if the river is too low)
	Visit an Akha Village Stop off en route for a glimpse of village life in an Akha hilltribe village.
	On yer bikes! 40 minute cycle ride back to the Lisu Lodge. (option of a drive back for those feeling tired / lazy!)
	Chill out at the Lisu Lodge, before being transported back to Chiang Mai (arrive back around 7pm)
